These terms govern your use of clipzips.com and app.clipzips.com (the "Service"), operated by ClipZips ("we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them.
ClipZips takes an uploaded podcast episode or video, identifies noteworthy moments, and renders them into short, captioned clips, which you can review, download, and optionally publish to connected social media accounts.
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure - we don't have a separate password to protect.
You retain all rights to the episodes and videos you upload and the clips generated from them. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and (only at your direction) publish that content solely to provide the Service to you. We don't use your content for any other purpose, and we don't claim ownership of it.
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and clip the content you submit, and for what you choose to publish from it.
Don't use ClipZips to upload or publish content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates the terms of the social platforms you connect (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok). We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the Service.
ClipZips offers a Free plan and paid plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum) with different upload/posting limits, billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from the billing portal in your account. Paid plans do not auto-refund partial months unless required by law.
Publishing to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok is subject to those platforms' own terms, which you remain responsible for following. We use Upload-Post as our publishing partner to make these connections possible.
The Service is provided "as is." We work to keep clip selection, framing, and captions accurate, but we don't guarantee the output will be error-free, and we're not responsible for how you use the clips it produces.
To the extent permitted by law, ClipZips isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
